A Thank you to Chef John Bell, CEC, CE for hosting last nights meeting at Leesburg High School.

A special thank you to Chef Kimberly Brock Brown, incoming ACF National President and Chef Bryan Frick, incoming Southeast Regional Vice President  for attending our meeting and sharing their insight of the future of the ACF.

Our Chapter President,  Chef Joel Padilla, gave us some insight about the upcoming National Convention and his thoughts on how the Gulf to Lakes Chapter can make at the difference at the convention.

Chef John Bell did a fantastic demonstration Floribbean Cuisine, which is a fusion of Asian, Caribbean, and Spanish Cuisine.  It was interesting to hear the history behind the cuisine.

Chef Jeff Rotz will host our chapter’s Family’s BBQ/Picnic at his home in Tavares.

Festivities start at noon (about) and will run until 5 PM (about).  Jeff will supply the proteins. He plans on preparing BBQ Pork Ribs, Beef Chili Con Carne, Jeff’s Famous Hot Wings, and Chef Jeff’ Pauls’ Baked Beans. Please bring a side dish (potato salad, beans, slaw, mac & cheese) and your favorite beverage. Bring a mask, folding chairs, umbrellas, tents, and of course, YOUR FAMILY.  Bring a fellow cook or chef, student, new member, or friend.  Everyone is welcome.
