Job Description:



Seasonal- Line Cook/Prep Cook.

Ability to work evenings/weekends and previous kitchen experience required.

Candidate for this line cook/prep cook position will be motivated, respectful, and reliable. Previous kitchen experience, knife skills, and knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper use of kitchen equipment is required for the position. The candidate will also be responsible for prepping, executing of meals, supervising part-time employees, and keeping the kitchen clean. Pay is $14 per hour plus a $600.00 bonus for Summer Camp completion.

The Florida Elks Youth Camp & Conference Center in Umatilla, FL. is accepting resumes for our culinary department! Unlike any “camp” you have seen, FEYC hosts groups of all sizes. Utilizing two state of the art commercial kitchens we produce food ranging from high volume camp fare to fine dining.

Applicants must

  • Be at least 18 years old for all full-time positions.

  • Be able to pass a level 2 background check

  • Be able to pass a drug screening.

  • Be able to stand for long periods

  • Be able to lift 50lbs.

  • Have a neat appearance.

  • Have reliable transportation.

  • Provide minimum of 3 references.
