The boat carries up to 10 guests, and sails from St. Thomas, for charters typically 7 days long. This is a chef/steward position, so cleaning of guest cabins, bathrooms and making beds will be some of the duties, also some light deck work will be required, as the Captain and the Chef are the only crew members. There 5 charter weeks left for the boat as of today, however there are some gaps in which it would be easier to switch in a professional for replace the current chef. The compensation (day rate) would be between the boat’s management company and the chef as an independent contractor. Tips will be split 50/50 with the boat’s captain. USCG license NOT is required for the chef as we are not sailing in foreign waters during the remaining charter season. Excellent chefs and captains are in high demand in the charter industry, this could easily lead to contracts for the next charter season (typically late November through early July).
