Allow me to introduce myself: I am Chef Jeffrey Rotz, a globally certified Executive Chef through the World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS) and the American Culinary Federation (ACF). Additionally, I hold the title of Certified Culinary Educator (CCE) and serve as the principal owner of Chefs Helping Chefs (CHC), a company dedicated to enhancing the standards of the hospitality industry. I also operate as a seasoned Food & Beverage Consultant.

Over the past 15 years, CHC has emerged as a leader in gastronomical training in the Caribbean and Mexico. Our clientele extends to properties in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, and the cruise ship industry. True to our name, Chefs Helping Chefs, we extend a helping hand to culinary and hospitality professionals globally. Our focus lies in providing live and in-person training, addressing the challenges posed by busy schedules that often hinder further education and certification for employees.

Our expertise goes beyond preparing for written and practical exams for esteemed certifications such as ACF and WACS. While we cover essential areas like Nutrition, Food Safety & Sanitation, Supervisory Management, and Cost Control, our training also includes hands-on instruction covering every aspect of back and front-of-the-house job skills. What sets us apart from competitors is that all our instructors boast over 20 years of industry experience, teaching not just from books but from practical knowledge.

Our curriculums are tailored to each property, eschewing the one-size-fits-all approach. We pride ourselves on being cost-effective and results-driven, with a commitment to placing the success of our students and properties at the forefront of our training initiatives.

In today’s landscape, where travelers are increasingly informed about the workings of the hospitality industry, a well-developed in-house food and beverage team is pivotal for high ratings in the travel industry. Education and certification stand as the most effective means to achieve and sustain excellence.

Recognizing this, the Jamaica Center of Tourism Innovation (JCTI) has responded to the evolving demands of travelers. They have implemented an initiative ensuring that every graduate in culinary and hospitality enters the workforce with an ACF or NRAEF certification. Furthermore, they invest in a “Train the Trainer” course administered by Chefs Helping Chefs LLC.

I look forward to the opportunity to discuss your training needs further.
